I am now 38 weeks and counting by days now... 14 days left yeay!! I included a picture of a baby room that I found on the internet, I loved how different and unique it looked, after seeing the prices for the very expensive designer baby rooms, I decided to recreate it and I will be posting pictures soon!! I found fabric online that I loved and I started sewing as soon as the fall semester at BSU ended. I am beyond excited at how well it is turning out, it is soo cute, and on top of that I have only spent about $50 on everything that I have in the room so far. That inlcudes the entire crib set (skirt and all) sewn by me, the glider rocking chair that I found on craigslist, which I made a new pillow and seat cushion for (to make it more modern), and the awsome white crib (my friend gave to me!) I wanted the room to look so great and alot like the one shown above, I just can't believe the luck that I have had in getting all of that for so little money, without loosing the integrity of the room. I get such a rush from creating and making new things, it has been so fun, and it keeps me busy since we all know that the last few weeks are the slowest ones LOL!
I keep seeing pictures of all of my friends with little newborn cuties, and I am soo excited to experience having a baby again. I am anxious to see my little boy who has been an only child for 6 1/2 years now become a big brother and to have him be able to experience the joy that comes from having that constant connection with our new addition. My husband has a little boy who is also 6 years old that lives in Kansas and so my little boy has been able to spend time with him in the past 2 years, and they get along so well for being the same age AND boys, it has been a surprisingly good exp. =) I think it will also help him get through some really hard things that he shouldn't have to go through in his life, and focus on the positive changes. Being a mom is definitely the most rewarding and the most challenging thing that we can ever go through in our lives; I wouldn't change it for the world!
